While we have a lot of fun together at Youth Group on gym nights, events and activities, we are equally committed to challenging our teens. Each evening we spend time together having thought-provoking devotional times and topical studies exploring various thoughts around the concept that Christians are 'not from around here'.

The Bible tells us that Christians 'are not of this world' meaning that it's OK and normal to feel that we don't fit in with the world's morals, ethics, and values. Instead of being intimidated by that, we need to embrace that idea.

Throughout our time together this year we will discover what God has to say about stuff that's real to us today. Despite what you may hear at school, on TV or from most of our friends, God is still very relevant today.

He gave us His Son, Jesus as an example. Through Jesus we can learn how God wishes to relate to us. Once a person gets to know Jesus and develops a relationship with Him, they can say, "I'm not from around here".
